I am 100% in agreement. Though I would wager the biggest barrier isn't technophilia, or desire to keep the status quo, at least among those that create and control the most emissions: companies. IMO, the biggest barriers for managers are lack of trust in alternative ways of doing things and lack of awareness/access to solutions. Our future depends on ramping up deployment of the solutions we have today. Thanks for a really great discussion of an under-appreciated topic!
